Steel City Con Returns - August 7th to 9th!
 Summer has arrived and it's con season! That means Pittsburgh's Steel City Con returns August 7th to 9th! With a huge guest list, including a can't-miss Batman opportunity, you'll want to attend! Read on for all the details you need to plan your trip, and order your 3-Day or 1-Day badges to save time!
Guests from Star Trek TOS and Star Wars are making rare appearances, including Matthew Wood and Nichelle Nichols! The show is bigger and better than ever, and continues to grow. You won't want to miss out as the SCC continues to be Pennsylvania's largest show.
With the show's expanded size, you'll want to pre-order either a 1-Day Badge, or a 3-Day Badge as well, to avoid the wait in line and get early admission! Pre-orders receive priority seating at events, such as the Celebrity Q&A's, Costume Contests, and more! And the 3-Day Badge is all about value that you just cannot beat.
The show's increased size means increased events as well. It's expanded to now include Contests, an expanded Celebrity Hall, Artist Alley, Expanded Collectibles Sales Floor, Photo Ops and more! Every show seems to get bigger, so this will be another huge Steel City Con.
Pittsburgh's Steel City Con returns August 7th-9th to the Monroeville Convention Center, which is conveniently located just minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh and just off the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76). Official hotel space next to the convention center is limited, so act fast, but other local hotels are available close by.
Expanded Show Floor & Events
The show now sports over 100,000 sq.ft. of show space, bringing you everything you expect from not just a toy show, but a true con experience! This is a Mega Con, and growing every year!
New events during the show include a Charity Auction, Artist Alley, Celebrity Q&A Panels, Collecting Panels, Costume Contests, Photo Ops, and more!
Extended Show Hours & Now 1-Day Or 3-Day Badge Pre-Orders
The fun goes on into the evening now at Steel City Con with extended show hours! And if you Pre-Order Your 3-Day Badge you can get into the show early all 3 days, and trust me you'll want to avoid the admission lines if you can! 1-Day Badges are also now being offered, if you can only make it to the show part of the weekend.
The show's hotel block expires soon as well, so don't delay and book your room soon at the Doubletree by Hilton right away!

Star Trek fans have been getting some great actors from all the films and series lately, and it's been fantastic to see such talent at the show!
Star Wars fans are sure to be excited to see Matthew Wood in the 'Burgh, and it's almost a lock he will do some Grievous voice work for the fans!
Also in attendance will be member's of the Star Wars 501st Legion costuming group, the R2-D2 Builder's Club, and members of the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society from across the state, including myself, wandering the show and looking for deals!
The 501st are always available for photographs with the fans, and recruiting new members!
